Our Story

By 1996, we already had a solid infrastructure, but we were facing a rapidly changing world due to technological advances. This, along with the imminent globalization of the time, served as an opportunity to acquire brand representations from European and American manufacturers, who were leaders in medical equipment and surgical materials. By acquiring these representations, Droguería Núñez entered the cutting-edge "High-Tech" market.

After seeing great results with these affiliations, we incorporated representations from manufacturers in South America (Argentina and Chile). However, it wasn't until 2002 that we took a step that would change everything. An invitation was extended to Asian manufacturers to work together, with China being one of the main ones, known for its global exports of medical technology. Today, we have more than 50 representations from Europe, North America, South America, the Caribbean, and Asia for our three main lines: pharmaceuticals, medical disposables and equipment.

With the resilience that defines us, and despite the international financial crisis of 2009, we achieved record performance in the medical and hospital equipment line, standing out among all the companies in the national industry. Over the years, we have also prioritized giving back to our community by supporting underprivileged groups in the country in various ways, led by the Corporate Social Responsibility department. Similarly, in 2020, under the turbulent conditions brought by the pandemic, we worked within and outside of our business hours, maintaining the social commitment to help those who needed our products to cope with the disease.

Today, with almost four decades in the Nicaraguan market, we manage excellent levels of competitiveness and an outstanding positioning.
